The Oregon Ducks knocked off the Texas Longhorns, 3-2, at Crunch Ballpark. Miguel Borrayo, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Oregon won. The third baseman went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Victor Bustos. The win gives the Ducks a record of 3-4.
The Ducks got a big at-bat from shortstop Mike Christopher. For the game, Christopher was 2-4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 2nd hit of the season gave Oregon a 3-2 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Borrayo said after the game.
