Behind a solid performance from third baseman Nick Lilley, the Auburn Tigers defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks, 9-3. Lilley was 2 for 4 with a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Tigers. Steve Pickering earned the win for Auburn. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits, while striking out 7.
