Ducks Lose, 8-2, at Dingoes Ballpark
|
The TCU Horned Frogs topped the Oregon Ducks, 8-2, with youngster Jon Dibling playing a key role. Dibling went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Horned Frogs in the win. Ray Mier picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 4 in 5 innings. Chad Flam earned the save for TCU, his 1st.
Dibling had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Horned Frogs went on to win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Dibling.
TCU has a record of 3-3.
