The Oklahoma Sooners beat the Missouri Tigers, 5-4, at Biglerville College Fields. Oklahoma right fielder T.J. Leiby earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Oklahoma reliever Eddie Rodriges picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Brian King shouldered the loss. The save was Zachary Schultz's, his 2nd.

Leiby had a key at-bat for Oklahoma early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a run-scoring single. It was his 10th hit of the season and gave Oklahoma an early 3-2 lead.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Leiby said.

Oklahoma, now 2-3, is off to a slow start.
