The Alabama Crimson Tide grabbed a 11-4 win over the Miami Hurricanes at Gremlins Ballpark. Alabama third baseman Tommie Parsons went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 to earn player of the game honors. The Crimson Tide, now 4-1, have been on a roll in the early going.

Eric Blatter aided the Alabama cause with a 2-run single in the top of the first. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
