Multi-HR Game for Miller in 6-4 Win
|
Florida State and Kansas duked it out at Ballpark of Riverdale College and the Seminoles came out victorious.
The Florida State Seminoles bested the Kansas Jayhawks by a score of 6-4, with first baseman Mike Miller getting the main credit. On the day, Miller went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Seminoles. Andy Wright sewed up the save, his 1st.
Steve Owensby aided the Florida State cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 2 with 2 walks.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Owensby said.
With the loss, Kansas drops to 2-3.
