|
Fresno State Bulldogs starter Cody Kelly pitched a strong game against the Stanford Cardinals at Surfers Ballpark, leading the Bulldogs to a 6-1 win. In 5.1 innings, Kelly surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. The Bulldogs, now 4-0, have hit the ground running this season.
Kevin Jefferson aided the Fresno State cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-2 with 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs.
