Bulldogs Walk Off with 10-8 Win
The Fresno State Bulldogs beat the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns, 10-8, at Brooks College Grounds. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Danny Stone, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Fresno State, now 3-0, is setting the league on fire so far.

Adam Butterfield chipped in for Fresno State with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 6 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Stone told the Fresno State Times.
