In a low-scoring clash between Vanderbilt and Oklahoma, pitcher John Gayden was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned player of the game honors for Vanderbilt in the 1-0 win. Jimmy Gregus was credited with the save for Vanderbilt, his 1st of the season. With the loss, Oklahoma is 0-2.
