Seminoles Win 4-3 Walk-Off

Fans of the Florida State Seminoles who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Florida State win over the visiting Auburn Tigers, 4-3. Lance Crumpton started for the home team against Steve Pickering. Steve Pickering earned the coveted player of the game honors.
Patrick Moran chipped in for Florida State with a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Moran, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
