San Angelo beat Victoria on the strength of starter Adam Andersen's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 6-3 win. San Angelo is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Orlando Talamantez, who is tied for 4th in the BOL with a .410 on-base percentage, aided the San Angelo cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman was 1-5.
"This was a good win for us," said Andersen. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
