Rhinos Get Past Portland for 5-4 Win
The Rubber City Rhinos racked up a win at The Rubber Grounds, bumping off the Portland Beavers, 5-4. James Thompson, who started for Rubber City, pitched effectively for his team. The Rhinos have an impressive 42-22 record.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Rubber City center fielder Oscar Costales, facing Juan Quezada, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Rhinos the 5-4 win.

"This team is on a mission," said Thompson, who is one of the clubhouse leaders. "I like our focus."
