The Boise Bloodhounds topped the Nichols Gnats, 5-3, in Lyman Bostock League action at Grand Canyon Valley Park. The player of the game was Boise pitcher and The Nation, Canada native Dean Archer. Hidehiko Yasuda got the save, his 3rd in 7 chances. The Bloodhounds saw their win-loss record go to 64-92. At the same time, the Gnats fell to 54-100.
Ricardo Sandoval chipped in for Boise with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
