Victory Over Cyclones Takes Okanagan to 97-54
|
The Coney Island Cyclones went down to defeat to Tyrone Mason and his Okanagan teammates. The final score was 6-2 in favor of the Lake Monsters. Juan López notched his 6th save in 8 chances. Okanagan is now 97-54, 6 games up in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.
One pivotal at-bat came in the top of the fourth with no one out. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Cyclones trailing 2-0, Tyrone Mason needed to make a quality pitch. He threw a full count cutter to retire Walker Greenan, who struck out.
