Bethesda starter Ids Haasjes put a stranglehold on the Bel Air offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Hornets to a 4-0 win. Bethesda improves to 86-64 with the win. They lead their division by 3˝ games.
Suezo Ine swatted a 2-run home run for Bethesda in the top of the fifth. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 3.
Ine told a Bethesda Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
