Nick Corpus made an impact in the 9-3 Bethesda win over St. Petersburg. Corpus, who is tied for 7th in the AHL in extra base hits with 44, was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Bethesda improves to 85-63 with the win. They lead their division by 4 games.

In the bottom of the 6th, second baseman Ramón Roniero gave Bethesda the lead when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Hornets had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out double off St. Petersburg pitcher Rudy Brisson changed that -- and Bethesda went on to win.
