Saints Win in Extras
San Angelo pitcher Adam Andersen gave the Saints all they could handle, but in the end, St. Paul left Saints Ballpark with a 4-3 win. Andersen allowed 4 earned runs on 9 hits over 9.1 innings. The Saints bumped their record to 77-70 with this latest triumph.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when St. Paul third baseman Denny Malone, facing Dan Garcia, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Saints the 4-3 win.

"We take it day by day here," said Malone, "and today was a good one for us."
