Bombers Come Back Late to Top Marauders
The South Carolina Bombers eked out a 6-5 win versus the Maple Marauders at Bomber Ballpark. Nobody did more than left fielder Kiyonobu Yamasaki, who captured player of the game honors. South Carolina reliever Juan Manuel picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Marcos León was saddled with the loss. The Bombers bumped their record to 35-29 with this latest triumph.

Yamasaki had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-0 fastball from Marcos León, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Bombers a 6-5 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Yamasaki.

"This joint was rocking," said Yamasaki.
