Cyclones Come Back Late to Top Vikings
Coney Island overcame a superlative game from Kevin Murphy to beat Victoria, 6-4. The Victoria pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball. Yuigo Fujimoto, credited with the save, is now 5 for 10 in save opportunities. The last-place Cyclones improved to 62-82.

Coney Island used the timely hitting of Devon LeBrecht to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cyclones on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments, LeBrecht told the Coney Island Bulletin: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
