Princes Subdue New Orleans, 5-3
|
Aaron Kelch left his imprint on the 5-3 Bel Air win against the New Orleans Jedi Knights. Kelch, who is tied for 8th in the AHL in RBI with 71, was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Princes now have a record of 60-84 with the win over New Orleans.
Kelch had a game-changing single in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 fastball from George McCurry, he banged a 2-run single to center, giving the Princes a 5-3 lead. It was the 178th hit of the year for Kelch.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Kelch.
