A 3-RBI performance from Hidekazu Kaneshiro helped the Barrow Frosties beat the St. Paul Saints, 6-2. Barrow reliever Toyoshige Konda was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Fernando Criado took the loss for St. Paul. The 'W' lifts Barrow's record to 73-73.

Youp van den Eijnden had a big run-scoring double for the Frosties in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Barrow trailing 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Fernando Criado and stroked the double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Frosties ahead, 2-1.

"I had a good game," said Kaneshiro. "Winning makes it even better."
