The drakkar was the site of a competitive game between the Victoria Vikings and Brisbane Bush Wackers.

Victoria got a terrific performance from pitcher Tony Gutiérrez, but it wasn't enough to beat the Brisbane Bush Wackers. Brisbane won the The drakkar contest, 3-1. Gutiérrez was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball. Brisbane reliever Diego Flores was the winner. His record is now 1-1.
