Charleston Panthers starter Enrico Avalos turned in an exceptional performance against the Eugene Emeralds at Franklin Mountains Field, resulting in a Charleston win, 4-1. Avalos got the win, improving to 2-5. He allowed 5 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. Avalos allowed 1 earned run. Bill Neville was credited with the save.
