The Boise Bloodhounds defeated the St. Paul Saints, 6-1, in Lyman Bostock League action at Saints Ballpark, with Boise pitcher Dave Grassa named player of the game. The Bloodhounds are now 58-81, while the Saints fall to 73-64.

Seisuke Fukushima aided the Boise cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Boise manager Nick Brown.
