Brisbane third baseman Jerry Swope was sensational. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Bel Air beat the Bush Wackers, 6-5. Swope was named the player of the game despite the loss. Bel Air reliever Cole Sanford picked up the win to move to 2-4. Alex Garrastazu suffered the loss. The Princes now have a record of 57-79.
Mike Flowers, who is tied for 9th in the AHL with a .447 slugging percentage, chipped in for Bel Air with a 2-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
