Victory Pushes Hornets Record to 78-57
|
Bethesda Hornets starter Kazutoshi Tanaka was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Barrow Frosties, 4-1. Bethesda reliever Kazutoshi Tanaka got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Craig Collier was tagged with the loss. Bethesda leads the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division by 4 games.
The Hornets got a big at-bat from first baseman Suezo Ine. For the game, Ine was 1-3 with a double and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 18th double of the season gave Bethesda a 2-1 lead.
