The San Angelo Mustangs got a strong performance from pitcher Emílio Buenvenida, who stymied the Okanagan offense en route to a 3-1 win at Elks Stadium. Jim Padjen was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 26 save opportunities. San Angelo has now won 3 in a row.
Freddy Ramos, who is rated as the 63rd best prospect by BNN, aided the San Angelo cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.
