The Tree City Black Squirrels knocked off the Boise Bloodhounds, 11-1, at The Nut House. Huong Toai, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Tree City won. The center fielder was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Tree City reliever Jorge Domínguez picked up the win, upping his record to 8-3. Francisco Martínez was saddled with the loss. The Black Squirrels bumped their record to 69-62 with this latest triumph.

Toai had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Black Squirrels went on to win.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Boise manager Nick Brown.
