The St. Paul Saints defeated the Westside Road Warriors, 7-2, in Lyman Bostock League action at Road Warriors Field, with St. Paul pitcher Curt Osborn named player of the game. Osborn, now 3-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run. Aaron Burrell was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 4 save opportunities.
Jim Bruce helped out the St. Paul cause in the top of the seventh inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the catcher went 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
