Bloodhounds Prevail, 5-3, Over Tree City
|
The Boise Bloodhounds racked up a win at The Nut House, bumping off the Tree City Black Squirrels, 5-3. Noah Zwicker, who started for Boise, pitched effectively for his team. Zwicker got the win, improving to 5-15. He allowed 4 hits and walked 4 over 6 innings. Zwicker allowed 2 earned runs. Boise is now 56-76.
Mario Ozuna, who is tied for 7th in the BOL in doubles with 28, aided the Boise cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder went 2-5 with a triple.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ozuna. "And not try to do too much."
