The Tree City Black Squirrels bested the Charleston Panthers by a score of 19-4, with shortstop Ivan Mena getting the main credit. On the day, Mena went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 3 walks, while scoring 5 times and driving in 2 for the Black Squirrels. Tree City reliever Roy Cohn got the win, raising his record to 6-3.
