Road Warriors Bang Out 8-3 Win Versus Tree City
|
The Westside Road Warriors knocked off the Tree City Black Squirrels, 8-3, at Road Warriors Field. Tsugunao Adachi, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Westside won. The right fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Westside reliever Ramon Trinidad got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Josh Butler was tagged with the loss. Cole Moore earned his 1st save in 1 chances.
Adachi had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Road Warriors went on to win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Adachi told the Westside Today.
The 5th-place Road Warriors improved to 55-69.
