The exploits of third baseman Satomi Takano, who is tied for 3rd in the BOL with a .336 batting average, helped the Kingwood Knights defeat the Coney Island Cyclones, 7-2. Takano was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. Jason Hammond earned the win to go to 6-8. He allowed 1 earned run on 8 hits, with no walks and 9 strikeouts. Kingwood is 4th in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division with a record of 57-66.
