Pelicans Lose to Bums in Walk Off
The Palm Beach Bums and St. Petersburg Pelicans obliged those fans who came to Envoys Ballpark looking for a good time.

Palm Beach beat St. Petersburg at Envoys Ballpark, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Ric Witkoski, who earned player of the game honors. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Palm Beach is now 49-71, while St. Petersburg is 52-67.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Palm Beach pinch hitter Eduardo García, facing Marlon Douglas, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Bums the 6-5 win.

García described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
