Victory Pushes Jedi Knights Record to 66-55
The San Angelo Mustangs got a superb performance from pitcher Kunio Otsuka, but the New Orleans Jedi Knights still won the game, 6-2. Otsuka was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Reliever José Martínez picked up the win. His record improves to 2-9. Justin Keling took the loss. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 66-55 with this latest triumph.

New Orleans used a timely hit from Sergio Arredondo to get the win. The designated hitter delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Jedi Knights on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Arredondo told the New Orleans Daily News.
