The Okanagan Lake Monsters got a good effort from starter David Pena in defeating the Kingwood Knights at Stable Park. The final score was 2-1. Okanagan now has a 4-game win streak.
Domingo Petrelia aided the Okanagan cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder was 1-3 with a hit by pitch.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Petrelia. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
