Andersen Now 9-4 After Subduing Bloodhounds
|
San Angelo starter Adam Andersen had a strong outing against the Boise Bloodhounds at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Jim Padjen was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 17 of 21 save opportunities. The Mustangs bumped their record to 69-48 with this latest triumph.
Andersen was effective for San Angelo, seldom allowing the Bloodhounds to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 123 pitches over 8 innings. He limited Boise to just 2 runs on 4 hits.
"It was just a matter of executing," said San Angelo manager Clyde Bowman.
