Black Squirrels Bang Out 7-1 Win Versus Bethesda
|
Tree City starter Terry Duncan pitched effectively against the Bethesda Hornets at The Nut House. The right-hander led his team to a 7-1 win. Tree City now has a 3-game win streak.
Doyle Coles hit a 2-run double off Kazutoshi Tanaka in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Black Squirrels in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Coles had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
Duncan attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
