The San Angelo Mustangs extended their winning streak at The Barn.

The San Angelo Mustangs defeated the Winfield Warriors, 11-3, in Lyman Bostock League action at The Barn, with San Angelo center fielder Reynaldo Munoz named player of the game. Emílio Buenvenida got the win, improving to 10-5. He worked 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 2.

Antonio Santana drove in one run for San Angelo. The 19-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Eloy Cisneros. It was his 43rd RBI of the season.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Munoz. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
