The Brisbane Bush Wackers topped the Tree City Black Squirrels, 5-2, with designated hitter Qing-nian Hsu playing a big role. Hsu went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Bush Wackers in the win. Brisbane reliever Luis Santana got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Francis Luck was tagged with the loss. The first-place Bush Wackers, at 74-38, now lead their division by 11½ games.
