The St. Petersburg Pelicans topped the Westside Road Warriors, 11-2, in Donnie Moore League action at Billy Mathews Field. The player of the game was St. Petersburg left fielder Daniel Harris. St. Petersburg reliever Ray Cummings was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Mike Tallman took the loss. With the win over Westside, the Pelicans improved to 46-60.

Harris had a key at-bat for St. Petersburg early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and gave St. Petersburg an early 3-0 lead.

"We did a lot of things right," said Harris.
