Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Hidekazu Kaneshiro, the Barrow Frosties defeated the Bel Air Princes, 9-4. Kaneshiro was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Frosties. With the win over Bel Air, the Frosties improved to 53-58.

Gil Cozart was a key contributor to the win for the Frosties. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a single to center. He was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Cozart told the Barrow Chronicle. "It's as simple as that."
