Pelicans Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus Westside
The St. Petersburg Pelicans topped the Westside Road Warriors, 7-4, in Donnie Moore League action at Billy Mathews Field. The player of the game was St. Petersburg pitcher Ryokan Endo. St. Petersburg reliever Marlon Douglas picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Ramon Trinidad took the loss. Jaiden Harris, credited with the save, is now 25 for 28 in save opportunities.

Alex Diaz, who is tied for 6th in the AHL with a .854 OPS, chipped in for St. Petersburg with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Endo told reporters after the game.

With the win over Westside, the Pelicans improved to 45-60.
