The Stroudsburg Shade beat the Eugene Emeralds, 4-2, at Tim Raines Stadium. The Shade got a fine performance from third baseman Ron Gale, who captured player of the game honors. Adam Downing had a big run-scoring single for the Shade in the bottom of the second inning.
