Bush Wackers Reel Off Another Win
|
The Brisbane Bush Wackers topped the Bethesda Hornets, 5-3, in Donnie Moore League action at Baylor Ballpark. The player of the game was Brisbane pitcher Alexis Nunez. Aaron Lyons was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 21 of 27 save opportunities. The first-place Bush Wackers now have a 6-game winning streak.
David Newsome aided the Brisbane cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Brisbane manager Pete Barrett.
