Hornets Lose, 7-3, at The Death Star
|
Danilo Cannavaro was instrumental in his team's 7-3 triumph over the Eureka Hornets. The right fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Georgia Grays. Norberto Barrón closed the game out for Georgia, earning his 1st save. With the win, Georgia is 3-4.
Armando Moreno's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning was a big one for Georgia. Coming to bat with two out, a runner on 1st and Georgia trailing 3-2, the second baseman hit a run-scoring single.
Cannavaro told a Georgia Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
