Black Squirrels center fielder Nacho Cruz put his stamp on his team's 9-4 win over the Stroudsburg Shade. Cruz was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Tree City in the contest. Rudy Cortez picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-3. He struck out 8 in 6.2 innings.
