The Princes faced a stiff challenge from St. Paul pitcher Ian Portz, but persevered to claim a win at Philip Banks Field. The final score was 4-3. Portz went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Bel Air reliever Shayne Cluff picked up the win, upping his record to 5-12. Aaron Burrell was saddled with the loss. With the win, the Princes improved to 39-63.

Bel Air's win came gift-wrapped. With two out in the bottom of the tenth, with the game tied, Jose Chaves reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run.

Chaves told a Bel Air Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
