Bethesda beat Chippewa in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The Bethesda Hornets downed the Chippewa River Chiefs, 10-2, at Hornets Field. Foster Miller led the way, going 2-for-5 for Bethesda. The Hornets bumped their record to 65-40 with this latest triumph.

Miller contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Bethesda in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Miller took a changeup from Lorenzo Chavez and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Hornets to leap in front, 3-1.

"I thought we played a nice game," Miller told the Bethesda Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
