Bush Wackers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Gnats
The Baylor Ballpark faithful were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Brisbane Bush Wackers took Nichols pitcher Eddie Ascencio's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Baylor Ballpark. The final score had Brisbane getting past the Gnats, 6-3. Ascencio went 6 innings and allowed 3 earned runs, striking out 7. The Bush Wackers own a robust 66-37 mark.

Brisbane won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Vince Johnson on the mound for Nichols, shortstop Dave Evans hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Bush Wackers fans to their feet.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Evans. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
